====== Alaz Okudan ======

Alaz Okudan is an MA graduate of the Media and Visual Studies program from Bilkent University, Ankara. His thesis is titled Camera Archaeologia: A Media Archaeological Investigation into the Contemporary Use of 19th-Century Photographic Techniques and was conducted under the supervision of Andreas Treske. Alaz is into hidden, neglected, and marginal stories from the history of photography, as well as alternative and hybrid approaches in visual image production. Media archaeological and archaeographical approaches hold an essential place for his personal work and academic research. He enjoys spending his time experimenting with hands-on photographic techniques such as chemical-based photography and photo collages. Currently, he lives, conducts research, lectures in Ankara, and roams the streets of the city.\\
