Miklós Peternák

(based in Budapest) is a writer, lecturer and film/video artist. He studied history and art history (PhD 1994: New Media – Art and Science). He was a member of the Béla-Balázs-Studio, Budapest (1981-87) and the Indigo-Group and head of the Intermedia Department at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest since its establishment. Peternák has been the director of C³ Center for Culture and Communication since 1997, a not-for-profit organisation promoting the exchange between art, science and technology. C3 researches, develops and supports cultural and pedagogical projects that involve the use of innovative artistic and technological tools.
