村上 淳一 (March 31st 1933- October 24th, 2017) was a jurist, professor emeritus of the University of Tokyo specialised in comparative law and German law. He is the author of many monographs on law, but also the translator of German modernist thinking such as Luhmann, Bolz and Flusser. He translated two books of Flusser into Japanese.
